In Point Pleasant, West Virginia, just before the I-35W Bridge collapsed on August 1st, what were local residents discussing? As it turns out, the talk was of the sad tragedy that had taken place at the Pomeroy-Mason bridge, Pomeroy, Ohio, just 10 miles from Point Pleasant.

Cryptomundo.com New Minnesota Mothman Sighting
Cryptomundo.com New Minnesota Mothman Sighting: "Please note, the “Mothman” (or large bird, Thunderbird) was reported to have been seen on June 27th, over a month before the August 1, 2007, collapse of the I-35W Bridge. That this is only being reported now, after all the talk of Mothman and the Silver Bridge collapse, must be held as suspect. So the question must be asked: Are there newspaper records of big bird sightings from SE Minnesota for the months before the bridge collapse, or is this myth-making occurring now?"

Chernobyl Monsters
Getting increasingly excited about S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl. Should be great when it finally arrives. One of my Russian mates tells me it is based on "true" stories of red eyed mutant monsters lurking near Chernobyl. Sort of like Yeti or Abominable Snowmen these things lurk inside the Zone attacking any looters wandering around breaking the security. Sounds a bit like Hills have Eyes to me.
